Reveo AI Policy
Effective Date: April 10, 2026
Reveo uses artificial intelligence to help businesses manage their reputation and social media presence more efficiently. This policy explains how we use AI, how we protect your data, and your rights regarding AI features.
1. How Reveo Uses AI
Reveo integrates AI capabilities into several areas of the platform to help you work faster and smarter. These features include:
- AI-Suggested Review Responses: When a new review comes in, AI drafts a suggested response for human review and approval. You always have the final say before anything is published.
- AI Social Media Content: Generate post suggestions based on your business description, recent reviews, and brand voice to keep your social presence active and authentic.
- Message Classification: AI categorizes incoming messages by intent — such as lead, customer service, or spam — to route them appropriately and help you prioritize what matters most.
- Sentiment Analysis: AI detects sentiment in reviews, messages, and social comments to flag items needing urgent attention so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Content Optimization: AI suggests improvements to social media posts to help increase engagement and reach.
2. Our AI Principles
Everything we build with AI at Reveo is guided by four core principles:
- Transparency: We clearly identify when content is AI-generated. AI suggestions are always labeled and require human approval before being sent or published. You will never wonder whether a piece of content was created by AI or a person.
- Privacy: We do not use your data to train AI models. Period. Your business data, customer data, and communications stay yours. We will never sell, share, or repurpose your data for model training.
- Human Control: AI features are tools, not replacements. Every AI suggestion requires human review before being sent or published. You can override, edit, or reject any AI output at any time.
- Accuracy: We acknowledge that AI can make mistakes. We continuously improve our AI features and encourage users to report inaccurate or inappropriate suggestions so we can make the system better for everyone.
3. Data and AI
We take data privacy seriously, especially when it comes to AI. Here is exactly how your data interacts with AI features:
- Reveo uses third-party AI services (currently OpenAI) to power AI features within the platform.
- Your data is sent to AI providers only when you actively use an AI feature (for example, clicking "Generate Response" or "Suggest Post"). Data is never sent passively or in the background.
- We do not send your data to AI providers for training, analytics, or any purpose other than generating the specific output you requested.
- Our contracts with AI providers explicitly prohibit them from using Reveo customer data to train their models.
- Reveo may use anonymized, aggregated data (with no personally identifiable information) to improve our own AI features and the overall platform experience.
- AI features can be disabled for your entire business account at any time by contacting support@reveo.com.
4. AI-Generated Content Responsibility
When using AI features within Reveo, the following responsibilities apply:
- All AI-generated content is presented as a draft or suggestion — never as final, approved content.
- You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before it is published, sent, or shared with customers.
- Reveo does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or legal compliance of AI-generated content.
- You must ensure that AI-generated content complies with all applicable laws, industry regulations, and platform policies before publishing.
- You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for communications requiring legal, medical, or financial accuracy. Always apply professional judgment and seek appropriate expertise when needed.
5. Opting Out
You are never required to use AI features on Reveo. Here are your options:
- You can disable AI features for your entire business account at any time.
- Individual users can simply choose not to use AI suggestions — they are never automatically sent or published without your explicit action.
- Disabling AI features will not affect your access to any other Reveo features or functionality.
- To opt out, contact us at support@reveo.com.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AI Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our AI features, practices, or applicable laws. When we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes significantly affect how we use AI with your data, we will provide additional notice through your Reveo account or via email. Your continued use of AI features after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
